1. Weddings
My niece Julie is getting married on Friday. I just love weddings. I'm so looking forward to being in the temple, spending time with family, and just having a day to celebrate a happy occasion.
2. The UPS man
Our magic little box that allows us to record what is on TV and then watch it later (and fast forward through commercials, or skip back to listen to that funny thing that you missed, etc.) broke last week. Wouldn't you know that it would break during fall season premier time?? Today the UPS man delivered a brand new magic box to my house. Thanks UPS man.
3. Neighbors
I love when I see my neighbors outside and we can talk and chat while our kids play. It is so great to have friends close by. To talk. To laugh. To vent. To complain. To have things in common. Mr. Rogers knew what he was talking about.
4. Texting
I love being able to be in touch with the people I love. I love that it is quick and easy. And I love that Julie taught me how to text and my phone can "guess" or recognize the word that I'm texting. Gosh, technology is great. And yes, the fact that most everyone else in the universe knew about the word recognition thing ages ago does not escape me.
5. Exercise
I'm not always grateful for exercise. In fact sometimes I hate it. But mostly I love it. I'm grateful that I am healthy. That my body can do the things that I want to do. I think the human body is amazing. So much so that I really want to go and see bodyworlds Looks so cool. I'm trying to decide if we should take our kids. What do you think?

Yah, my neighbors are awesome!! We go on really fun walks :D Next time we'll have to bring along some balloons ;) I have been mulling the body worlds thing around. My parents are going to go see it and it does look amazing! I just can't get over that it's really somebody I'm looking at. Let me know if you go!
Okay you're not the only one who did'nt know about the texting recognition thing (T9) I think? Brody just showed me the other day now I can text much faster even though I'm still so slow. I love your sense of humor and reading your blog. So here's my techno question of the day - What does :D and ;} mean?
As far as I know they are just sideways smiley faces.
Bonnie dear,
What a delightful little comment you left me. It's amazing how often my friendship has been likened to mammal-amphibious-morphed creatures.
The funny thing is just the other day I was thinking that your friendship is as dazzling and rare as the canary yellow diamond in Elizabeth Taylor's earring-(back when she wasn't so old of course)

I'll let you know if I'd take kids after I go tomorrow!
I saw some kids at bodyworlds, like maybe 4 or 5 yrs old. they seemed kind of like they didn't care, like they were maybe bored. But that could be a personality thing. I'd say that jr. high or older would like it a lot. I don't know your kids so I don't know how to really judge whether or not they'd have a problem. The exhibit is mostly dark with black walls like in a haunted house. the pieces are all well lit and you can always see really well, it's not like pitch black or anything. most of the exhibit is body parts. like arms, legs, hearts, lungs, spleens, livers and slices that have been plastinated so you can see through them like a slide. There are maybe 10 actual FULL bodies that are dissected to show their muscles, bones, etc. there are no uh... "adult" things. but there are dissected penis's, breasts, and reproductive organs on the bodies. I dunno. I hope that helps you decide! I'll talk to you next time I see you at work.
