Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for...
1. My parents
Who 35 years ago today had ME!

I'm so thankful that I am their last little girl and thankful for my five older crazy siblings. Thankful they kept trying when they weren't sure I was coming. Thankful that they live right up the street and my kids can ride their bikes to their house. Thankful they are involved grandparents. Thankful they are a wonderful example of service and living the gospel.

2. A husband that knows WAY more about computers than I do.
Going back to school would be impossible without his help. Especially now that I am taking an online class. I love my computer geek.

3. Cole and Cagneys primary teacher.
I substituted in their sunbeam class last week and boy did that make me grateful for their teacher! Bless her heart. She is a young newlywed with no kids yet. Maybe this experience will be good birth control. The lesson was on the Holy Ghost. Here is a little tidbit from our lesson...
Me: How do you feel when you do something right?
Wriggly Squirmy Kid: I have a bulldozer!
Me: Wow! That is cool. So how do you guys feel inside when you do something right?
Another Kid: I went to Disneyland last week!
Me: How fun! So how do you feel when you do something right?
Another Kid: It's my Birthday and I'm going to have a party!
Me: That is so neat! Okay, put your listening ears on and listen to my question. How.Do.You.Feel.When.You.Do.Something.Right?
Kid: Happy!
Me: Awesome! Lets color!

4. Naps
I love naps. I really needed one yesterday and it was wonderful. I think that places that have siestas in the middle of the day really know what they are doing.

5. Online student progress reports.
Every couple of weeks Miquelles grades are sent right to my email! It is wonderful. She is a really good student so usually I have no reason to be concerned but I love this little way of keeping on top of things.

Honestly, there's no "they" when it comes to childbirth. It's your Mom all the way. However, my dad said that childbirth for fathers, although different, just lasts the rest of their lives......especially when it comes to their daughters. Aww. Such a sweetie.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTA!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
I think you are so awesome!

OK, so the bulldozer comment had to be from my Shaylor! Too funny! Ya, we colored a lot when I was a sunbeam teacher! Thanks again for substituting!

Hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Bonnie-
I started to write a comment yesterday and then it never got sent! I just wanted to write and say Happy Birthday! Did you end up going to either of those movies? I was wondering if you liked them or not. we were going to see the Not that into you one on Valentine's day, but then my 5 year old started throwing up and we had to miss our Valentine's date. It kind of stunk! Anyway, it's great to hear from you. I hope I get to come to Utah again sometime so we can get together. I'd love for Mason and Miquelle to be able to see eachother now that they're all grown up!

I loved your nursery story. Tim and I teach it together, but he was gone last week. Your dialog was pretty accurate!
