Curse you black friday...
I have never been one that wants to shop on black friday, in fact I usually make it a point to not go shopping at all that weekend. BUT I really want to try and get some Christmas shopping done on saturday. It is one of only two saturdays that I have off work between now and Christmas. Will it be crazy?? Is it even worth venturing out? I was thinking about even waiting until the late afternoon and evening. So if you shop that weekend let me know what to expect. Pretty please.

It will be busy, but most of the insanity is over by mid-morning. Avoid Walmart most of the day. And have a positive attitude. If you can sing along to the musak and keep a song in your heart, the lines aren't so bad.
Embrace it! Get out there at 4 am. Get awesome deals and bring a book or a journal to keep yourself busy in the long lines. Know what you're looking for. No browsing on Black Friday or you'll go crazy!
If you're going to do it, be the happy one in the crowd. Smile at other people, hold the door, use the opportunity to spread Christmas cheer. I have gone before. I thought I was getting out early last year when I showed up at 6:30 at Jordan Landing - the parking lots were already full!

I'm late, but I'm like you. I avoid crazy crowds! We went out on Saturday and it wasn't bad. I think as long as you have a plan and a small list, it shouldn't be too bad. Let me know if you need help. I totally wouldn't mind. :)
